Busycon Freaks

    Members of the Genus Busycon appear to be particularly susceptible to shell damage apparently as a result of attacks by predators (rays, crabs, etc.). However, the snails demonstrate remarkable resilience and are able to  survive and repair the damage - at times producing some bizarre shells.
